Mata Hari House is thoughtfully designed and fully furnished, giving your event a striking foundation without having to create the atmosphere from scratch. Cocktail and dining tables, black Chiavari chairs, linens, lounge furniture, bars, catering tables, chandeliers, our iconic disco ball installation, and more are already included.
In-House Décor & Styling
Elevate your event with thoughtfully designed décor rentals, available directly through Mata Hari House. Choose from our signature styled packages or work with us to create something custom. Our team handles the styling, setup, and breakdown, so you can enjoy a beautifully finished event with far less to coordinate, transport, or pack up afterward.

Our preferred caterers know the venue, understand our standards, and regularly serve events at MHH. With a range of culinary styles and service options, we can recommend the perfect team for your vision. Each caterer offers menus, bartending and beverage service, and professional event staffing, bringing everything together through one experienced team.
The team you love
For clients who already have a great caterer in mind, we require a few things: a certificate of insurance (COI), a staffed team onsite throughout the meal to handle delivering, prepping, bussing and cleanup, and an outside catering fee.
Your favourite restaurant
Bring in food from a licensed restaurant, and our team will handle setup and service. The package includes serving equipment, buffet essentials, tableware, beverage dispensers, dietary labels, and more. Quote provided upon request.

BYOB and let our MHH bartenders handle the rest. If you’re working with one of our preferred catering teams, you may also book their bartending and beverage services for a seamless all-in-one experience.

Mata Hari House was designed with the natural flow of an event in mind. The Grand Entrance and Main Banquet Room create an impressive arrival and central gathering space, while the Dining Room, Prep Kitchen, and restrooms are positioned toward the back of the House. This thoughtful layout keeps service running smoothly behind the scenes while guests move comfortably through the celebration. We know events, and every part of the House has been arranged to work beautifully for both guests and event teams.

The Location
Located at 154 Leslie Street in the heart of the Dallas Design District, Mata Hari House sits among art galleries, vibrant murals, and some of Dallas’s most popular restaurants and hotels. Industrial architecture meets a thriving arts scene, bringing character, color, and creative energy to the neighborhood.
Grand Entrance
Make a striking first impression in our Grand Entrance Foyer. Marble floors, contemporary sconces, our signature take on the red carpet, and an impressive five-foot brass chandelier create a polished arrival worthy of any occasion. Beautiful on its own or personalized with florals, balloons, marquee letters, or signage, the foyer offers a memorable photo moment for guests as they arrive and make their grand exit. During months with favorable weather, the space can also open into an inviting indoor-outdoor patio area and ceremony space.
Main Banquet
The heart of the venue and the primary gathering space for your event. Custom floor plans can incorporate dining, lounge seating, the bar, the disco ball installation, vendors, and décor. Designed to balance beauty, creativity, and function, the space can be tailored entirely to your vision. The Lounge, Bar, and Disco Ball Installation all live within this one great room. MHH Lounge
Our cozy, chic lounge is the ultimate spot for guests to unwind and socialize, featuring stylish, curated furniture and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether taking a dance break, enjoying a conversation, or simply soaking in the ambiance, the space combines comfort and elegance for any event, and is arranged based on your floor plan. Features: four couches, plush chairs, fringe chandeliers, gold coffee tables, rugs, ottomans, and lamp lighting.
Disco Ball Installation
Our signature disco ball installation creates one of the venue’s most memorable focal points. Set within an elevated corner of the Main Banquet Room, it offers the perfect backdrop for DJs, live bands, dancing, speaking engagements, and photo moments. The disco balls rotate and reflect light throughout the space, bringing movement, energy, and a little magic to every event. They may be removed upon request for an additional fee.
MHH Bar
Our striking 12-foot mahogany bar brings warmth and character to any event. Fully equipped with an ice box, mini fridge, cooler, and ample storage, it offers everything needed to serve drinks in style. A smaller satellite bar is also included for events that would benefit from beverage service in two areas of the venue. BYOB with our in-house bartenders, or book beverage service through one of our preferred catering teams.
Dining Room
The ideal setting for catering displays, buffets, and food stations, keeping dining beautifully presented and easily accessible. It can also be transformed into a second dining room or a breakout lounge area, tailored to your floor plan and vision.
(2) Powder Rooms
Our venue features two thoughtfully designed powder rooms that add a touch of charm and style to your event. Each is beautifully appointed, with a cozy, welcoming vibe. To set the mood, we always light a candle, creating a relaxing atmosphere that ensures your guests feel comfortable and pampered. Bathroom attendant available.
Prep Kitchen / Client Room
Our spacious prep kitchen gives caterers room to prepare, plate, and coordinate food service. It also provides a dedicated holding area for vendor items, keeping supplies tucked away and easily accessible throughout your event.
Private Vendor & Client Parking
A private rear lot provides convenient parking for clients and vendors, with ramp access to the prep kitchen for easy loading and unloading. This dedicated entrance keeps setup activity separate from the front entrance

A deposit puts you on the calendar and opens up the vendor lists, the catering menus and the rest of the black book.

We’ll finalize your floor plan, event flow, vendor details, and venue logistics. You can also add styling, décor, staffing, day-of coordination, and other services based on what your event needs.

Our rental options are designed around the day and duration of your event, with half-day rentals available Sunday through Thursday and full-day rentals offered on Fridays and Saturdays. Every rental includes exclusive access to the entire venue, floor planning, our on-site inventory of tables, chairs, black linens and lounge furniture, a venue manager, professional cleaning, private vendor parking, preferred catering options, and complimentary vendor recommendations.
Ceremonial add-on $1,000, includes the flip from ceremony into reception layout.
